BET 2013 Awards: Hits and Misses

The 2013 BET Awards aired last night. It was one of BET's best awards show. I could not sit down, because every artist that performed was entertaining. Robin Thick, Pharrell and T.I. tore the stage up when they performed, Blurred Lines. T.I. was doing his James Brown dance off to the side. R. Kelly performed some of his greatest hits. That boy can still sing. He looked good in his spiked attire. Kendrick Lamar and Erykah Badu hit the stage together to perform, Don't Kill My Vibe. The performance was amazing, with Ms. Badu lent her voice for the hook. She did not dress in her usual clothing.
Charlie Wilson from the Gap Band, received the Life Achievement Award. Uncle Charlie stole the show, not for his acceptance speech, but for his performance. He showed Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dog and Pharrell who is still in charge.
Ciara is back. She lit up the stage with a steamy performance. She also debuted her new video that features Nicki Minaj, I'm Out. The video reminds me of the "Black and White" video by Micheal Jackson.
I can not forget Dwyane Wade or "3." Our hometown boy and NBA Champion. Received a Humanitarian Award for his great charity work. He looked so good.
We cannot forget about the fashion hits and misses, here are my Best and Worst Dress picks:
The Hits:
Every since Nicki Minaj took the job as an America Idol Judge, she has really stepped up her red carpet looks. She was very elegant in her black lace gown. She received the Best Female Hip Hop Award.
Megan Good, Preacher Wife who. She presented an award for Best Gospel Artist. Her blue low cut dress was the talk of Social Media.
Everyone was very harsh on Gabrielle Douglas during the Olympics, for her hair. Last night she was stunning on the red carpet. She received the YoungStars Award and the Subway Sportswoman Of The Year Award.
The Misses:
Angela Simmons, was the host, alongside Bow Wow for the red carpet. I know some of the stars were complaining about the L.A. heat, but did she need shields to protect her breast from the sun.
Lala Anthony, I thought her husband played basketball. I was waiting for her to throw on a football jersey, so she could catch a pass. What was up with the extra large shoulder pads on the back her dress.
In honor of Tamar Braxton, BET aired White Chicks. She need to stop with the plastic surgery. Her voice is beautiful, but her face...you be the judge.
