2014 SAG Awards: Color Trends

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Forevermark Diamonds
The 20th Annual SAG Awards is the half way mark on the road to the Oscars. Before the Actors and Actresses meet "The Actor", they have to walk the red carpet and I get to play Fashion Police. There were so many actresses that "Hit" the mark for the SAG's, that I grouped my favs by color trends.

One color that I really love are shades of Green. These ladies could put a smile on the Grinch's face. 12 Years A Slave Actress Lupita Nyong'o, snag the award for outstanding supporting actress wearing Gucci.

30 Rock star Jane Krakowski was glamorous in her green, one shoulder gown by, Roland Mouret. Her hair was to die for.

I was not a big fan of "Gravity" star Sandra Bullock gown for the Golden Globes. But for the SAGs she was gorgeous in this strapless Lanvin gown.
These could make cloudy skies turn blue. Homeland actress Morena Baccarin post-baby body turned heads on the red carpet. She was beautiful in a Monique Lhullier gown, Brian Atwood shoes and Jimmy Choo clutch.

American Hustle star Amy Adams, killed it again in this cutout, one shoulder dress by, Antonio Berardi. Her silver rhinestone belt added glamor to this look.

Dallas Buyers Club actress Jennifer Garner, was radiant in this MAX MARA and Brian Atwood shoes.
These ladies chose metallic and sequins. The sequins worked for "Game Of Thrones" actress Emilia Clarke. She walked the red carpet in the Calvin Klein gown, Roger Vivier shoes and a Rauwolf clutch. This was one of my favorite looks of the evening.

What was "Homeland" actress Claire Danes thinking when she decided to walk the red carpet, in this Vionnet gown. This gown had way too much going on. She definitely did need to bring a mirror with her, she had plenty on her dress.

American Hustle star Jennifer Lawrence missed the mark for the Golden Globes and again for the SAGs. Her Christian Dior gown looked like a disco ball.

  1. I think it's so interesting how color is standing out at the awards shows these days, especially emerald green! It was the color of last year but it seems to be staying in Hollywood a bit longer, haha.

Now, my only question is, where were the accessories for Jennifer Lawrence's dress? It could have been so pretty, but without at least a brighter statement necklace, it doesn't look put together.

Just making sure to stop by from the SITS Tribe Building Challenge, can't wait to see what else you'll feature on your blog! I'm loving it so far.
