The Event
Anyone who knows me knows that I love shoes. I had every color and style. From sneakers, sandals, pumps even wedges. One of my favorite shoe designers is Steve Madden. He is one of the few men that can make my feet feel and look good. He knows a way to a woman's heart, are the shoes she puts on her feet. So, when got that email that he was coming to my hometown, there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to meet the legend in person.
Waiting to Meet the Man
The event took place at Dillard's, right in front of the Steve Madden shoe display (of course). The music was pumping and TV Personality, Julissa Bermudez kept the huge crowd rocking, with her dancing and a shoe giveaway. The girl had moves like Jagger and no I didn't win a pair of shoes (boo).Getting the Goodies
There were two lines. One for people that purchased shoes and the other line was for people that just wanted an autograph. If you purchased a pair of shoes you got your autograph first. Not only did I get an autograph, but I also received a bag, T-shirt, an umbrella and a picture with Mr. Madden himself. I really had a good time. Now I'm waiting for Micheal Kors to make his South Florida appearance. |
