This weekend I had a chance to participate in a one in a lifetime event. Now, I can check seeing Oprah Winfrey, in person, off my bucket list. Lady "O," made here sixth stop in sunny Miami, for "Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend."
For two days, she brought something for the mind, body and soul. On Friday night, she took center stage donning a beautiful yellow gown. She gave the audience an insight into her personal and professional life.

Then On Saturday, the audience participated in a workshop... This workshop included exercises to help you find the life you want. In between the workshop we had a chance to hear from Oprah's Trailblazers- Iyanla Vanzant (Iyanla: Fix My Life), Pastor Rob Bell, Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) and Deepak Chopra. DJ Kiss, kept the crowd pumped, as she played music for everyone to enjoy. Stacey Griffith, an instructor from Soul Cycle, kept the adrenaline going with a quick workout.

"Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend," was powerful, uplifting, spiritual, inspiring and motivating. She got to thinking about my life and some adjustments that I need to make. Two questions jump straight out at me- Where will I be in a year from now and How can I give back through service?
Here are a few more life lessons that stood out for me:
Purpose is your Thread... Are you doing enough?- You are a better you, than a pretend anyone else
Forces of life move you in different directions- No purpose concern only myself
- We co-create our own lives with the energy of our intentions
- Your life speaks to you all the time- in three stages...
- Whisper = Message
- Pebble = Problem
- Brick = Distress
