Tyra Banks is one of the most influential African American women in the world of modeling. This beauty was an original Angel for Victoria's Secret. She has graced the cover of Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue not once, but twice. She was able to use her experience as a Runway Model to produce "America's Next Top Model," which paved the way for up and coming models. Banks also hosted the Emmy Award winning talk show, "The Tyra Banks Show" for 5 seasons.
Tyra Bank was not your average model, she was tall with curves. As an African American woman, she made me want to strut my stuff on the catwalk, I just wasn't tall enough.
