Bedroom Spring Cleaning Tips

Spring has finally sprung and what better to ring in the season than with a little Spring Cleaning. I'm in the process of decluttering my entire bedroom, including my closet. Trust me it is no small task. During the next few weeks, I will be giving tips on ways you can get your Bedroom Spring ready.

The first task at hand were my clothes. I went through all of my clothes that haven't been in a while and separated them into 3 piles... Donate | Throw away | Giveaway. Needless to say, my mom and sister took most of the stuff off my hand.

Next, I organized my drawers, I had bras and underwear just thrown everywhere. I went to the Container Store and purchased Drawer Dividers. This a great way to keep my undies organized. They come with two dividers, super easy to install and fits the length of my drawer. Now I have bras on one side and underwear on the other.

Bedroom Cleaning Checklist:

1. Keep Closet Seasonal | The winter season is over, so go ahead and put those coats and winter boots away.

2. Doesn't Fit, Get Rid Of It | If were a size two, but now a size 8... Why are you holding on to that item. If it does hold any sentimental value "Let It Go."

3. Not Worn In A Year, BYE | I know it's so hard to say goodbye to those pairs of jeans, but if they haven't been worn in 12 months, either replace them or turn them into shorts.

4. Store Sentimental Pieces In A Box | Grandmother gave you a sweater for Christmas and you refuse to trash it. Store it in a bag under your bed.
