Memorial Day honors those soldiers who have given their lives while fighting for our country. It's also where we say bye-bye to spring and hello to summer.

Macy's is honoring those soldiers and is proud to partnered with those who have served alongside Got Your 6 to salute summer in a big way, with iconic fashion and plenty more. If you're looking for family fun indoors activity and want to celebrate the holiday a little early, then Macy's has you covered.

Macy's is hosting an American Icons Kickoff Celebration and you're invited to join me for all the in-store excitement.

On Saturday, May 16th at 12 PM, inside Macy's at Dadeland Mall, join Lifestyle Expert Vanessa James as she hosted an All-American ensemble fashion show. After the fashion show, there will be a Fashion Happy Hour, where you can shop for your favors from the catwalk. "Hold Up Let Me Take A Selfie," don't forget to take an #AmericanSelfie with The Bomber Girls in one of Macy's patriotic photo ops. Then, you will have a chance to learn the rich history of the Seminole Tribe of Florida at their patchwork installation.
