Fashion | Shades Of Reds

Friday, June 05, 2015

Monochromatic is wearing the same tints, tones and shades of the same hue. Monochromatic can be a fun and stylish look, if it is worn the right way. But, wearing the same colors can also be a bit blah and dull. Don't worry, this trend can be spiced up by following these simple steps.

1. Choose a color that fits you. Colors like pastels, neutrals, black and white are all favorites. I opted out of those colors and went for shades of reds.

2. Do not be afraid to mix textures, like knits and leather. I choose to mix linen and jean, it made for a perfect combine.

3. Go ahead and mix those shades up. Do not wear all of the same color purple. Mix that purple dress with a pair of lilac shoes. For my look, I mixed Amber and red together.

4. Throw a little color or print to give your look some life. If you are wearing all white, add a pair of royal blue shoes or a floral handbag. I decided to throw on a pair of sparkling pump to complete my look.
