I recently took a free e-course with Melyssa Griffin from The Nectar Collection, called Social Media Superhero. This free course was all about creating your Branding online and strategies to build stronger communities around that brand. After her class, I decided to do a little reimagining to my Instagram layout. I want my IG to have a crisp and stylish feel to it. I also wanted to improve my selfie game. So, of course, I turned to YouTube to see how other Vloggers capture their perfect selfies.
I noticed some of the Vloggers were recording their IPhone screens to show the apps they use to edit their pictures. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I started searching for ways to record my iPhone screen.

It is easier if you own an Apple computer... All you would need to do is load Quicktime, plug in your lighting cable to your iPad/iPhone and hit record. If you use a PC, then you will have to download  a program called Reflector 2.

Reflector is a wireless mirroring and streaming receiver that allows you to connect your iPad/iPhone or Android to your computer at the same time. It is mirrored in real time, so you can record what's showing on your device. You can purchase the license for $14.99, but there is a 7 day free trial.

1. The first thing you will need to do is go to you iPad/iPhone Settings→ General→ Accessibilty→ make sure your Assistive Touch is turned on.
2. Once you have downloaded Reflector 2, open it, make sure your iPad/iPhone and computer is on the same Wi-Fi connection and your Bluetooth is on.
3. Go to the control center of your iPad/iPhone and hit the Airplay button. You should be good to go. You can save it on your computer or upload your video to YouTube.
