Good Monday morning! Baby, it's cold outside. Today is not a normal weather day here in South Florida. I woke up this morning to temps in the 50's. So in the true spirit of fashion, I broke out the over the knee boots. Anyway, I had a great and chill weekend.
Saturday I attended the baby shower of my friend and Local 10 meteorologist, Jennifer Correa. We celebrated as we await baby Joe's arrival. Local10's meteorological Julie Durah and news reporter Jenise Fernandez did a great job with the decorations, food and games. Jen was so excited.

Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend.... I know I surely did. The weather was so perfect here in South Florida, not a lick of rain in sight.

• Friday night plans were to go to happy hour, but those were cut short due to my lack of sleep. I decided to stay in bed and catch up on How To Get Away With Murder and America Horror Story.
• Saturday was the perfect day to enjoy some outside activities. I had the pleasure of attending former Miami Dolphins, John Offerdahl 7th Annual Gridiron Grill-Off. This event pairs a former Miami Dolphins player with a Celebrity Chefs and TV Personalities, from right here in South Florida. The fans got to meet and take pictures with each of them. We the fans had a chance to sample food and wine from about 20 plus tents. We also got the chance to vote for our favorite grill recipes. There was also a Cornhole Tournament. Trust me there was no shortage of food and booze. I had a great time.

• Sunday was chilled and relaxed. I went to visit my brother and his family. Two of my sisters were also there. My baby sister cooked chicken and waffles, of course, I ate and then played with my niece and nephew.
Weekend Buy | This weekend New York & Company had a sale on jeans and pants for $20. A few ago I wanted to buy a pair of Flare Jeans, but they were way out of my price range. I was so happy that they were a part of the sale.

On Saturday, October 15th, fashion guru Betsey Johnson stole the spotlight when she paid a visit to Macy's in Dadeland Mall. The fashion icon on was there to launch her new line Betsey Johnson xox Trolls inspired by DreamWorks Animation's Troll movie. Available only at Macy's. It was a packed house that was full of energy.

If you lived or even visited South Florida, you are no stranger to the heat during the fall and winter season. I'm talking about the kind of heat that will have you sweating in place that you didn't know you could sweat. The heat makes it almost impossible to wear any winter clothing. When the temps drop in the 70's we Floridians find a reason to break out the sweaters and the boots with the fur.

One of my favorite fashion designers is bringing her unique style right here to the sunshine state. Betsey Johnson is known for her whimsical designs, wild hair and doing those famous cartwheels at the end of her runway shows. This fashion icon has been gracing us with her wild and wacky style for over 30 years and at age 74 she is not slowing down. In her own words, she describes her style as ragged, raunchy and ridiculous. When I think of Betsey Johnson, I think pretty purses, glamorous jewelry, and fancy footwear.

It's time for Fashion Friday! Consider yourself a champion this fall, because you will be doing hurdles over the sportiest pant trend.

It's Labor Day weekend and that means summer is coming to an end. I know most of you will be celebrating this three day weekend by not working. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate so we can enjoy some time outside. Maybe you plan on dusting off the grill and getting that bar-b-que going or throwing on your bikini and hitting the water. Whatever you plan on doing enjoy and be safe.

Hey Friday, been waiting on you since Monday. My weekend may be a total washout. Here in Miami, we have something brewing in the tropics. So, that means rain all weekend long... BOO! Anyway, today's #FashionFriday is all about the classic Little Black Dress.

As you may know, my weekend are made for retail therapy. I've been on the hunt for a nice pair of Espadrilles for a while now. Over the weekend I walked into Steve Madden and the Espadrilles that I have been eyeing for months, finally went on sale. The Prettty is a sneaker like shoe with rhinestone detailing over the entire shoe. It has also features a platform espadrille heel. Making it the chicest shoes to add to your summertime wardrobe. Not only are the chic, but the are comfortable, they can be worn with just about any thing and they come in different styles.

In today's edition of #FashionFriday we are mixing prints. Something I enjoy doing during the summertime. In my 5 Rules For Mixing Prints post, rule number 3 is to mix patterns that compliment each other. Floral and Gingham are two prints I love to put together. Floral print comes in all shapes and size. Its abundant of eye-catching colors makes it easy to mix with other prints. And, Gingham is a classic print that will never lose its style.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted attending a star stunned Hillary Clinton fundraiser in New York City sporting a gorgeous orange dress. The "Aint You Mama," singer looked polished in her monochromatic look. From top to bottom, she wore shades of orange perfectly. There was no storage of skin shown in this dress... Her dress featured a halter neck and high split that showed off her toned legs. She finished off her look with Christian Louboutin Paloma heels, matching bag and bright orange lipstick.This look was very easy to copy.... I think I spend less than a $100.

The saying goes "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," meaning that everyone perceives beauty in a different matter. People think beauty is all about what's on the outside shell. I think feeling beauty is having confidence that you look and feel good on the inside as well as the outside. When Boohoo contacted me about doing a Body Confidence Swimsuit post, I did not hesitate to get in on the opportunity. 

Beyonce is really feeling the fresh squeeze of "Lemonade."  Over the Memorial Day holiday, the "Sorry" singer was spotted in New York City donning bright yellow pants, a white T-shirt, a matching snake print handbag and a white blazer. She topped her look off with opened toe sandal, a wide brim straw hat and round sunnies. This look was an easy steal, however, I had the hardest time finding yellow pants.
