On Saturday, October 15th, fashion guru Betsey Johnson stole the spotlight when she paid a visit to Macy's in Dadeland Mall. The fashion icon on was there to launch her new line Betsey Johnson xox Trolls inspired by DreamWorks Animation's Troll movie. Available only at Macy's. It was a packed house that was full of energy.

If you lived or even visited South Florida, you are no stranger to the heat during the fall and winter season. I'm talking about the kind of heat that will have you sweating in place that you didn't know you could sweat. The heat makes it almost impossible to wear any winter clothing. One of my favorite fashion designers is bringing her unique style right here to the sunshine state. Betsey Johnson is known for her whimsical designs, wild hair and doing those famous cartwheels at the end of her runway shows. This fashion icon has been gracing us with her wild and wacky style for over 30 years and at age 74 she is not slowing down. In her own words, she describes her style as ragged, raunchy and ridiculous. When I think of Betsey Johnson, I think pretty purses, glamorous jewelry, and fancy footwear.
