The saying goes "A smile is worth a thousand words," and when it comes to good dental hygiene I take it as seriously as my physical health. Years ago, I had a few teeth pulled, because they were badly decayed that they couldn't be saved. Pulling teeth is never a good idea, it caused my top tooth to start growing in that empty space and my teeth started shifting. I started to notice my teeth shifting about 3 years, so I made the decided to get braces to straight my teeth back out. When I took off the braces my teeth were very yellow. I wanted to do teeth whitening badly, but it was kind of pricey.
Just my luck Smile Brilliant contacted me about doing a review. This was the first time ever doing using a teeth whitening product. Needless to say, I was very excited. Yay for whiter teeth!
First, make sure teeth are nice and clean. Brush and floss your teeth thoroughly is important for making a perfect impression.
Prepare For Impression
Mix Catalyst & Base Paste
I mixed the blue and white paste together thoroughly until it was a solid blue color. I had to mix it quickly so the putty would harden on me.
Place Mixed Putty In Tray
I set the putty in the tray and made sure to spend it evenly for about 30 seconds.
Make Upper impression
I needed to get the right impression. I placed my finger on the bottom of the tray and press into teeth. I made sure my front and back teeth entered the putty at the same time. Then I pressed deep enough so the putty covered my gums. I left the on for 2min 30sec.
Verify & Repeat
I made that I could see my teeth impression clearly. There was extra material in case I messed up and had to start all over again. I did not remove the impression from the tray. Next, I let the impression sit for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with cool water. I didn't place it in the shipping envelope until the impression had hardened.

Mail Impressions to The Lab
Now it is time for shipping. I placed both impressions in the envelope and mailed them off. It took about 5 business days for me to receive my customize trays.
Teeth Whitening Process
Once I received my customize trays it was time for the whitening sessions. I usually waited until it was bedtime for me do to the process because I was done drinking and eating for the day. I did make the mistake of fall asleep with the whitener on and let's just say my teeth were very sensitive and I had sharp pains in my teeth all day. The teeth whitening removed some of the stains on my teeth, but I think I was excepting my teeth to be much whiter.
1. Brush teeth with water and floss, no toothpaste
2. Whiten for 45 minutes at first then gradually increase time up to 3 hours, depending on sensitivity.
3. Brush with toothpaste
4. Desensitize gel treatment for 15-20 minutes
5. After desensitizing don not brush or rinse teeth
